KNX Universal Dimmer

MTN6710-0102
  • 2-Channel KNX Device
  • Mounting: DIN rail mounting (REG)
  • Width: 4 TE
  • Bus Voltage: ≈ 30V DC
  • Power Consumption: 7.5 mA from the KNX bus on its own (Master only), which increases to 10 mA with one extension and 12.5 mA with two extensions.
  • Is a KNX switch actuator used to control electrical loads like lights. It receives commands from the KNX system and turns devices ON or OFF.

Overview in ETS

In ETS, the master outputs of the MTN6710-0102 are the main dimming channels that actually control the lights. Each output (Channel 1 and Channel 2) is responsible for: Switching ON/OFF the connected lamp Dimming brightness (0–100%) Sending status feedback (current state or dim value) They are called “master” because they directly control the load and can also define how dimming works (like minimum/maximum level, fade time, behavior). So Every master output has about 6 object functions, bits, and other functions. as seen in next cards.

contain the basic configuration that defines how the device behaves overall. This includes settings like channel activation (enable/disable channels), load detection mode (automatic or manual), dimming principle (leading or trailing edge), and global behavior such as what happens after bus power return.
